Educare was first started in 2000. Its aim is to provide resources for schools in developing countries. Our belief is that education is the key to raise people’s hopes and expectations above the grind of abject poverty.

Unwanted resources are collected from schools , sorted, packed and shipped to needy schools overseas.

Books, stationery items, sporting equipment and backpacks have been sent to Peru, South Africa and Uganda. Tanzania is next. Goods are sent one pallet at a time so that receiving schools can physically manage the transport and unpacking. A pallet costs on average $1,100 to ship.

We also provide resources for other organizations wishing to take/ send educational materials to resource poor schools. We are supported by Magill Primary School our receiving depot and Dymocks books who provide cartons for packing. Educare includes a wonderful group of supporters who are serving Christ by serving others.
